10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Seminar with Sensei Frank Barca
BAA was honored to host the first QLD 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Seminar with Sensie Frank Barca over the weekend of Oct 18th and 19th. It was a closed event attended to by 30 enthusiastic Mixed Martial Arts Students. A Sensei of Hanshi Patrick McCarthy, Frank has recently returned from his third visit to 10th Planet Holloywood at Legends Gym in LA and is the first Australian 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu instructor based out of his Melbourne Dojo.
We eagerly await the next seminar which we are in the process of confirming dates for, this may be open to the public. Keep an eye on our Events page for more details!

New Mixed Martial Arts Classes for Adults and Children!
Brothers At Arms - Academy of Martial Arts now offers you the opportunity to join it's new Mixed Martial Arts classes. There are seperate classes for adults and children where all students learn the essenital basics of self defence. Go to the academy page for further details!
Brothers At Arms is Changing Address
Due to our rapidly growing Martial Arts Academy we are moving to a purpose built Training Academy in Brendale. Click on the link below for a map of the new Academy.
Retail Showroom Time will move to 1.00pm to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and from 10.00am to 1.00pm Saturday and by prior appointment outside these times.
Over the coming weeks there will be continuous changes to the web site as we aim to keep you informed of our new training schedule and syllabus, and wholesale and retail Martial Arts business.

The Armoury carries a wide range of combat ready practical blades made from high quality carbon steel. All pieces are fully tempered with full tang construction made of high carbon or spring steel. Damascus and Swedish powder steel blades.
Our Shoppe carries a range of handcrafted wooden and leather goods from belts, boots and sandals, to diary’s, safe keep chests and aromatic burners. The Shoppe also has a range of period clothing and martial arts training equipment.
